This page contains some information on extra commands and gauge options
for the ScanGauge.
Use this data at your own risk.
The cars ECU supports the following PID's in mode 1:
PID | Description |
0x03 | Fuel system status |
0x04 | Calculated engine load |
0x05 | Engine coolant temperature |
0x06 | Short term fuel trim |
0x07 | Long term fuel trim |
0x0B | Inlet manifold pressure |
0x0C | Engine revolutions per minute |
0x0D | Vehicle speed |
0x0E | Spark advance |
0x0F | Intake air temperature |
0x11 | Throttlevalve position |
0x12 | Secondary air status |
0x13 | Oxygen sensors available |
0x14 | Oxygen sensor 1 voltage |
0x15 | Oxygen sensor 2 voltage |
0x1C | OBD standards that apply for this vehicle |
0x21 | Distance driven with CEL on |
There are other modes availabel besides mode 1. These are much less documented.
In the table below you can find definitions for a number of gauges (for the
XGauge menu) based on mode 1 and other modes.
Ofcourse you can choose your own name for the gauges.

Next to the XGauge there is also a possibility to send seperate commands from
the ScanGauge. This is done from the CMDS menu, so not from the XGauge.
Unfortunatly it is not possible to program names for each memory slot, but you
can store them in memory. Make sure you issue the command you want!
Command | Description |
C4 33 F1 30 13 07 00 | Turn off radiator fan |
C4 33 F1 30 13 07 FF | Turn on radiator fan |
C3 33 F1 30 28 04 | Reset all learned fuel trims |
